Their effective and responsible participation requires the acquisition of a body of knowledge and of intellectual and participatory skills. Demonstration Patriotism: recite plegde, wear nations colors,be respect of nations leaders Open-mindedness: accept others beliefs, thoughts, and motives regardless of your opinion, listen Negotiation and Compromise: allow yourself propose a settlement when either you or another party are having issues Civility: respect everyone Compassion: allow yourself to care of others Critical Mindedness: find multiple solutions to a problem, choose the best solution Persistence: continue to go for what you believe, always follow your beliefs Respect for the rights of other individuals: treat others as you would want to be treated Respect for the law: obey laws, understand why we have them Honesty: always speak truth, don't be afraid to be honest Tolerance of Ambiguity: accept unfamiliarity, allow unfamiliarity in your life Civic Mindedness: find ways to make society better courage: be persistant, face difficulty, be brave |
